Mato Anomalies — Game Localization
Project
Mato Anomalies is a narrative-driven RPG blending turn-based combat, dungeon exploration, and detective-style visual novel sequences.
My Contribution
Add 2–3 sentences on your specific localization responsibilities: which content you localized (dialogue, UI, marketing copy), team size, and tools used.
Localization Challenge
Add one concrete, non-NDA example of a localization decision you made and why — e.g. adapting a pun, handling a character’s voice, or resolving a cultural reference.
Why It Matters
Game localization is not word-for-word translation — it’s re-authoring narrative voice, humor, and player experience for a new cultural context. Every dialogue choice shapes how players perceive character, tone, and story stakes.
